Mission Statement

We are building a open, collaborative network to connect everyone working on marine litter, from beach cleanups to scientific research. From private citizen to municipality or community.

Starting in Iceland, our mission is to bridge the gap between grassroots action, academic insight, and practical tools by making knowledge accessible, visible, and shareable.

There are many different organisations and individuals in Iceland that work on making our shores cleaner and bring the issues of pollution to the attention of the public. What has been missing so far however is a common connector between all these different efforts. A hub for exchange and knowledge sharing. And a platform where all of the different efforts, events, and achievements are collected.
We believe that real change happens when we stop working in our own little bubbles and start learning from each other across coastlines, sectors, and disciplines.
