Bio
I’m a communicator by heart and trade — someone who believes that words, when used well, can move people, shift narratives, and spark collective action. For more than twenty years I’ve been working across journalism, digital media and large-scale event communications, helping teams tell their stories clearly, honestly and with impact.
My background is diverse: I’ve managed media operations at global sports events, run a positive-news magazine, built websites, handled crisis communication and community management for brands, and worked as a freelance writer, PR lead and reputation strategist for almost two decades. The red thread through all of it? Translating complexity into something people feel, understand, and want to be part of.
As my focus shifts more into the marine litter and ocean protection space, I bring these skills with me — storytelling, stakeholder communication, audience engagement, data-minded strategy, and a deep belief in collaboration. I’m fascinated by the intersection of science and public awareness, and I want to help close the gap between what we know and what we act on.
I care about the ocean — not just as a habitat worth protecting, but as a connector of people, places, and stories.
